We’ve never sold that much furniture in a three-day period or even a five-day period. It feels good to have this payback from the consumer now that they want to come in and they know if they want to buy something from us now, that they’ll be pleased with it just like they always were,” Charles Liebman said.Liebman said he’s retiring to spend more time with his family.

N.B. Liebman opened its first store on Derry Street in 1946.

The closing sale kicked off Friday at the store on Carlisle Pike in Cumberland County and runs through May 1.
