Lean Six Sigma training completed from a recognized university, Lean Six Sigma trainer, or corporate program is encouraged but not needed for people who intend to sit for the test. Practitioners will obtain IASSC Green Belt Certification from the International Association for Six Sigma certification, a real independent third-party Certification Association within the Lean Six Sigma Industry if they complete the course successfully.
The IASSC Certification is valid indefinitely. Effective March 1, 2017, a classification system recognizes certificates as “Current” for three years and outlines requirements for retaining such Status, according to the IASSC Recertification Policy.
